When I first decided to get back into the community, a good colleague and friend of mine Steven Leonard reminded me that we have a duty to support a variety of community organizations. After researching the various organizations, we created a charity mission that included our partnership with certain organizations that aid in education, children’s health, cancer, fine art, opera, ballet, endangered animals and environmental protection. Our charity resume began to grow as Steven Leonard became our ambassador of outreach and a community leader. It will continue in his honor.​

Steven Leonard Diamond Award Program:
On Friday, February 27, 2015, from 5:15 – 7:15 pm, the Conservancy of Southwest Florida along with William Boyajian of Port Royal Jewelers invited close friends and family to a “Celebration of Life” to honor the life and community involvement of Steven Leonard, who recently passed on February 20, 2015. The host, William Boyajian, presented a special announcement that honored the late Steven Leonard and will contribute greatly to the community as an annual remembrance. Inspired by Mr. Leonard’s dedicated work with outreach, “The Steven Leonard Diamond Award Program” includes a sizable diamond donation presented to one chosen charity annually. The first diamond awarded for 2015 was a 2 carat radiant cut diamond to benefit the Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s ‘Magic Under the Mangroves Gala’ scheduled Thursday, March 5, 2015.
